Bankole Adeate is the Country Managing Director for Baker Hughes in Côte d’Ivoire, with responsibility across several West African countries. With over 15 years of energy industry experience, he is passionate about building sustainable, locally led energy ecosystems in Africa. Since relocating to Côte d’Ivoire in 2023, he has championed indigenous workforce development, increasing local Ivorian representation from less than 20% to over 70%, including technical and leadership roles. Bankole brings deep expertise in strategy, operations, and talent localization, working across upstream, midstream, and downstream energy sectors to support Africa’s long‑term energy transition and SME growth.
