Austin Ogbogbo is a seasoned oil and gas executive and Manager, Pipeline Asset & Gas Supply at Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG), where he leads pipeline infrastructure, gas supply reliability, and asset integrity across critical energy systems.

He brings broad experience spanning finance, commercial strategy, risk management, and gas infrastructure. As Finance Manager, he played a key role in raising approximately $7 billion for NLNG’s Train 7 Project, alongside securing over $3 billion in prepayment financing. He has also contributed to the growth of Nigeria’s domestic LPG market through his commercial leadership.

Austin is actively involved in talent development and capability building within the energy sector and is recognised for his work in gas commercialisation, infrastructure development, and energy financing. He is a regular contributor at leading industry platforms and has a strong interest in advancing Africa’s energy infrastructure through innovation, technology adoption, and strategic partnerships.

At the SPE Africa Technology Conference 2026, he shares insights on pipeline systems, asset integrity, and the role of gas in Africa’s energy transition.
